Abstract
Studying the important features of various religions around the world in a completely scientific and objective manner, free from any prejudice, will undoubtedly bring beautiful results. Curiosity about the beliefs, customs and traditions of various cultures and civilizations in the world has always existed for centuries, and every day that passes in the life of historical research, it produces amazing and surprising results. Two cultural regions may be different and contradictory in terms of geography, history and other characteristics and be far apart, but in a specific case they are in harmony with each other. The birth of the sun is one of those customs and traditions that can connect two cultures and civilizations and bring the cultural relations of the two countries closer. The birth of the sun ceremony is held in the Latin American region and in the country of Bolivia by the Imres, and the Cheleh or birth of the sun ceremony is also performed in Iran and is performed according to the Mehr worship and Mithraism rituals. Now, in the present article, a comparative study is conducted between the Sun's Birthday ceremonies in Iran and Bolivia in order to find out the cultural commonalities of these two ceremonies. According to library studies, it is found that the importance of agriculture in the cultural background of both regions and the existence of the cold season and the reduction in the use of sunlight have caused them to have a period of time to celebrate and appreciate the sun, which is reflected in the structure of the Sun's Birthday.
