Nowruz is one of the ancient Iranian festivals that has held a special place in the culture of the Iranian people from ancient times to the present, and it is celebrated every year with joy and festivity. In general terms, a "festival" refers to events and ceremonies that, due to the occurrence of a pleasant and extraordinary event, leave a lasting and memorable impression on individuals' minds. In Shia jurisprudence, specific religious practices and rituals are prescribed for the day of Nowruz, which, when observed, enhance spirituality and bring greater joy on this day. These rituals include prayer, ablution, fasting, gift-giving, visiting relatives, wearing clean clothes, and other virtuous behaviors that strengthen social bonds and bring one closer to God. This paper, using a descriptive-analytical method, examines and analyzes the religious rulings and practices of Nowruz in Shia jurisprudence. The aim of this research is to elucidate the significance of these practices in strengthening both individual and social relationships, as well as to honor this special day among Muslims, especially Iranian Muslims
